About the Pups

Echo at 3 weeks!

Echo is a big teddy bear of a pup.  He is fluffy and round, and teeter-totters as he runs and bounces!  He is very laid back, but talks and whimpers and has no problem letting you know what he wants or needs.  He is very serious about mealtime!  He really gets into his meals…literally!

Echo at one month

As he has grown, Echo has learned to keep his paws out of his food, and he now eats soooo much more.  His paws are gigantic…they fill my entire palm!  He is very smart.  He has learned to sit, shake, and is catching on to stay and lay down, but I don’t think he is too fond of those two commands.  He is very laid back, but loves to play.  He is such a soft and fluffy pup!

Echo at 3 1/2 months. Boy has he grown!

Echo misses his sister, but loves his “kids!”  He is very playful, protective, and sweet.  He is a big oaf of a dog now!

Echo at 1 year.

Sierra is Echo’s sister.  She is feisty and playful and tough.  She is very vocal!  She howls and talks and whimpers, and always has something to say.  She will nip at your ears or your hands the moment you make contact with her, but if you stroke her a few times, she will settle down and cuddle.

Sierra at 3 weeks

Sierra is still very feisty.  She is super fast!  She can out-run Echo, and is really funny when she chases him.  When she chases him in the back yard, she will catch him almost immediately, bite down on his butt, and then run with him, teeth clamped down!  Poor Echo!  She can jump like a deer, but curls up like a cat.  She may be confused…she is still really cuddly, though.  She is a sweet pup.

Sierra at 31/2 months. She has grown a lot, too. Look at those ears!

While Sierra is no longer with us in our home, she is always going to be with us in our hearts.  SHe now lives with another family that loves her and takes very good care of her.  This is her as an adult.  There will still be updates on her as we go along, so she is still a part of our lives.  We miss her soooo much!
